As a passionate advocate for education and community involvement, I am honored to be running for the Oak Ridge Schools Board of Education. After graduating from Tennessee State University, I moved to Oak Ridge, TN, to begin my Electrical Engineering career almost 20 years ago. My husband and I have three children who attended Oak Ridge Schools. My eldest son graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 2020 and graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in May 2024. Our two younger children attend Linden Elementary and Robertsville Middle School. I am an active parent who volunteers at the schools, provide mentoring in the community, supports the community and our children in numerous capacities in the City of Oak Ridge. I am deeply invested in the success of our schools and the well-being of our students and teachers.
